Column: ¡LA RECETA DE ‘De Hel van Enschede’!

Gezien onze selectie een hoog internationaal gehalte heeft, en de wedstrijd tegen NEC even 'De hel van Enschede nostalgie' teweeg bracht, leek het gepast deze melancholische gevoelens ook daadwerkelijk zo te vertalen. Vandaar een column in het Spaans gevolgd door een versie in het Engels. Geniet van de Kerstdagen en een HELS 2019 gewenst!

Esto es para los jugadores del FC Twente que calentaron nuestros rojos corazones de FC Twente con una inesperado regalo de Navidad, ¡el resurgir de De Hel van Enschede!

Me gustaría pedir a todos los jugadores que repasen, en concreto, la segunda mitad contra el NEC y, en adelante, recuerden que están en el mágico Grolsch Veste, o mejor aún: De Hel van Enschede. ¡Vosotros creáis esa atmósfera eléctrica! ¡Vosotros aviváis el fuego, nosotros creamos el infierno!

Contra el NEC, durante más de 90 minutos la multitud estuvo de vuestro lado, cantó con todas sus fuerzas. ¡Simplemente porque jugasteis con corazón y alma!

Zekhnini con una carrera y un gol increíbles por igual. Los disparos hacia adelante de Aitor y su brillante interceptación defensiva. Oosterwijk, que anotó un espléndido gol y mostró confianza, haciendo vibrar a la afición. Smith constantemente presionando y siempre con mucha energía. Brama, el "Hiniesta” definitivo. Espinoza, conectando al equipo con habilidades técnicas e inteligencia futbolística, ¡10 para siempre! Bijen y Schenk, defensivamente confiados y agudos, ¡verdaderos maestros de zona!

Esto es lo que nosotros, Tukkers, queremos, necesitamos y apreciamos. Esto, y solo esto, es LA RECETA "De Hel van Enschede". Ingredientes simples: cohesión, pasión y 'grasvreten'.

Lo que hemos visto contra el NEC es el potencial del FC Twente 2018/2019. A través de este medio, en nombre de todos los aficionados del FC Twente, les pedimos que recuerden este partido mágico, 21/12/2018. El día que habéis revivido de forma colectiva el De Hel van Enschede.

This is for the FC Twente players who warmed our collective, red bleeding, FC Twente hearts with an unexpected Christmas gift, namely the De Hel van Enschede revival!

I would like to ask all players to specifically review the second half against NEC and henceforth remember that you are in the magical Grolsch Veste, or better yet: De Hel van Enschede. You create that electric atmosphere! You stoke the fire, we create the hell!

Against NEC, 90+ Minutes long the crowd was on your side, sang their lungs out, simply because you played with heart & soul!

Zekhnini with an amazing rush, and ditto goal. Aitors' drive forward and a brilliant defensive interception. Oosterwijk scored a splendid goal, displayed confidence electrifying the crowd. Smith constantly pressing and an energetic presence, always. Brama, the ultimate controller. Espinoza, connecting the squad with technical abilities and football intelligence, 10 forever! Bijen and Schenk defensively confident and sharp, true zone-masters!

This is what we, Tukkers, want, need and appreciate. This, and only this, is THE ‘De Hel van Enschede’ RECIPE. Simple ingredients: Cohesion, passion and ‘grasvreten’.
